FYT's objectives are to provide family entertainment in the Furness area and to develop young people's confidence and skills in acting, singing, movement, communication and self-expression. Taking part in theatre productions gives young
people the invaluable experience of working together as a mutually supportive and
self-disciplined team. This is an experience which drama classes and workshops alone
cannot provide, and is the reason why FYT enables all its members to progress to large
scale theatre, should they wish to do so.
